The conducting IIT provides an online feedback mechanism on the Candidate Portal where aspirants can point out ambiguities or challenge provisional keys:

1. Log In to Feedback Portal

Access the feedback section inside your candidate dashboard on jeeadv.ac.in during the 48-hour active window.

2. Select Paper & Question

Choose Paper 1 or Paper 2, select the subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), and pick the specific Question ID.

3. Enter Comments & Justifications

Provide clear mathematical/scientific justification or cite standard academic textbooks supporting your alternative answer.

4. Expert Committee Review

The Joint Implementation Committee (JIC) reviews all candidate feedback with domain professors before sealing the Final Key.

Universal Revision: When IIT accepts an objection or drops an ambiguous question, the modification is applied uniformly to all candidates. No individual email confirmations are sent to candidates who submitted feedback.

Frequently Asked Questions – JEE Advanced Answer Key 2027

Candidate response sheets are published within 4 to 5 days after the exam in late May 2027, and the official Provisional Answer Key is released around early June 2027 on jeeadv.ac.in.
If all correct options are selected, you get full +4 marks. If 3 or more options are correct and you pick only 3 without wrong options, you get +3. If 2 or more options are correct and you choose 2 without wrong options, you get +2. If 1 correct option is chosen, you get +1. Marking any wrong option results in -2 marks.
In most recent editions of JEE Advanced, the Numerical Value Question section does not carry any negative marking (0 marks for incorrect or unattempted). However, always verify the specific instructions given on your question paper.
If an error is discovered and a question is dropped by the Joint Implementation Committee, full marks for that question are credited to all candidates who appeared in that paper.
