What is DASA UG Scheme 2027?

Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) is a flagship Government of India scheme coordinated under the Ministry of Education. It facilitates direct admission for Foreign Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) to premier Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, including NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs, and Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs).

Admissions under DASA are supernumerary (over and above regular sanctioned capacity) up to 15% of total seats. All admissions are conducted strictly based on the candidate's JEE Main 2027 CRL (Common Rank List) rank conducted by the National Testing Agency.
